Christmas in Oregon

As we were packing up we realized we were quickly running out of room. So, we just HAD to open a few gifts before we headed out to Oregon!

It was SO FUN!

Berkley even got to open a gift! He even did a dance around the room to show his excitement :)

Our first stop in Oregon was Gma Sue's

Next stop was Jake's sister Kathleen's

Then it was off to Gma & Gmpa's in Salem!

Gma had a great idea to make a ginger bread house Christmas Eve!

It didn't take very long for the "Constuction & Acrchitect" people to take over :)

While Gma made a yummy snack

we watched the boys work

It turned out GREAT!

Later that night we got to go to Jake's sister Kendell's to visit her fam!

Spending time with everyone was really so wonderful :)

I can't believe how much these kids have grown!!

They are all so beautiful, inside and out.

Christmas day

It was perfect

Dad is this backpack too big? NOPE.

This gift from Gramma Carole and Grandpa Phair

is a horse family with a playground.

(That's chocolate on the side of E's mouth)

Our big gift to her was a Doll House:

Which came with a "people" family which she very quickly

chucked aside for the horse family :)

So extra thanks Gma & Gmpa for the horse family & playground!

for lack of knowledge, 'danish thing'.

It was GORGEOUS and more importantly DELICIOUS!

We followed our "Morey" tradition by going to the movies later to see Sherlock Holmes while Elizabeth got to spend more time with her cousins.

The following day we went to visit Jake's friend Mitch and his family.

They were eager to get the kids together. Sorry Marley's, maybe next time will go better?

I felt really bad because, as anyone who has little ones knows that after a few days of travel, off schedules and late nights does not bring for a happy healthy kiddo :/

That night we just HAD to go to Jake's home town favorite

While I had to exit the restaurant early due to an overly exhausted little girl :(
We slept in the next day and packed up to be off again on the road.

On our way out we made a few stops.

We got to go see Ben & Lori in Silverton.

We fell in LOVE that little town!

We were off again,

We took the opportunity to stop and visit Jake's sister Jen's family

It was So nice to get to see them and visit, as it has been 3 years

since I have been back to Oregon!

We were SO LUCKY to catch Collette and her family in town!

(The house is so big I'd have to stand accross the street

Really though, our visit was just lovely.

We VERY MUCH enjoyed visiting with everyone and

look forward to building our relationships as we live a little closer now.
